Dear Maintainer,
Not sure if this is the same bug. I have an Epson Perfection 1260 scanner.
It was working all right on Wheezy (took a while to warm up, but
eventually was available). Since the update to Jessie, it doesn't
work
My wheezy installation is on another PC but I just downloaded the
libsane deb package and plustek.conf is exactly the same. I also tried
setting option warmup 0 but nothing changed.
Anything else I can check?
Thanks for helping.

Same config files. Same versions of libusb. libsane 1.0.24-6 xsane 0.999-1.
xsane takes ages to find the scanner then gives me an I/O error. On a
second run, without disconnecting the device, xsane can't find the
scanner.
What can I do? Shuold I try running a liveCD or similar on the same hw?

Indeed. This is a very good idea. You need to help us by trying
to find a configuration on your computer where the scanner actually
works. Using a Linux LiveCD like Ubuntu
Hello Leonardo!
This particular scanner is notorious to have issues when the warmup
period is set to -1 which means auto. Try setting this to 0
(no warmup) and see if that fixes your issue.
I assume you had this set before on your Wheezy installation which
is why the scanner worked there.

Hello Leonardo,
For me you can include or attach the outputs. But for the BTS its better
you attach it. So its easier to read.
I have looking about differences between the source of the plustek
backend in Wheezy and Jessie:
Both using the source version 0.52 with minor changes. Also there are
