Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Hi there,
the nautilus-open-terminal package provides a plugin for Nautilus that adds an "Open in Terminal" item to the context menu for directories. However, meanwhile this functionality has been imported directly into gnome-terminal [1]. Thus, if both nautilus-open-terminal and a recent gnome-terminal package are installed, the "Open in Terminal" context menu item will appear twice. While this is harmless, it renders the nautilus-open-terminal package obsolete and we think it should be removed from Debian. The maintainer of the nautilus-open-terminal package agrees with this in #766919 [2]. Appropriate Conflicts and Replaces relations will be added to the gnome-terminal package in the next upload. Thank you very much, Fabian [1] https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-terminal/commit/src/terminal-nautilus.c?id=0ffe6b51a132ef9b28c58283c4b177f4a82f327a [2] https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=766919#40 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
