Panfrost debuted in mesa 19.1.0, but it's stil really early days. Some of my collegues hacking on panfrost mentioned they'd feel quite uneasy if 19.1 with panfrost enabled made its way into testing and creating a bad image for panfrost. The hopes are that from 19.2 it will be ready for somewhat wider consumption.
