I think currently there's no ftbfs issue for this package.
So no immediate urgency to upgrade package.
It's still welcome that anyone can help to package the new
dependencies to NEW queue.

Quick update on this, zhsj on IRC pointed out upstream changed their
import path, so that fixed most of the import problems. We're left with:

tags to disable that functionality than to rip it out with a patch, but

upstream's binary release and is useless on distributions since

fails to build.
It could be great to update to upstream 4.43.0 and backport the
