I wonder if it is a race condition in the Makefile. libmux.so is built from
code in the package. It isn't an external dependency. From the Makefile:

Hi,
lintian.debian.org has been out of date since end of 2021. The question

UDD now has its own importer for lintian data. It also provides a

But indeed the new version lacks that, I'll add the dir to the build
so that

Hi,
sorry that I didn't see that bug earlier :-/
Well better late than never ... I at least saw the removal :-(
I had a look and I'm confused by how your re-build broke here.

That should be provided by librust-rand-dev and all its variations.
The build
Package: openvpn
Version: 2.6.0~git20220518+dco-3
Currently openvpn implicitely disables the unit tests by not build-depending on
libcmocka-dev. If it is installed, the unit tests will be built. If not running
the unit tests is intentional you should specify the --disable-unit-tests

How do your permissions on ~/.config and ~/.config/gobby look like? Does

Hi!
Please consider setting CONFIG_RANDOMIZE_KSTACK_OFFSET_DEFAULT=y
(5.13 or newer).
This enables a security feature with low performance overhead.
