The grace.menu file currently sets the menu option for Xmgrace to
appear in the Science/Mathematics section. I think the Data Analysis
section would be more appropriate because Grace is a data analysis and
plotting application, not a mathematics application.
A second point...
The hints field is used incorrectly to provide a description of
xmgrace. The hints field is really an optional list of keywords for
the menu system to use when grouping icons. The field should either be
used correctly or removed.

Hi Wolfi,
As with the other python-* dependency related bugs, this has been
fixed in Ubuntu by bumping python-lxml, python-numpy,
python-uniconvertor to Recommends. I think this would be acceptable
in Debian too, given that Debian Policy implies that the Recommends
field should be used for

Hi Ambrose,
It has been a long time since you reported this bug. Please could you
check whether it still affects you with the latest Debian Inkscape
package (0.47.0-2)? If so, please could you attach an old SVG file
which contains a (root) layer so that I can try to

Hi Ruben,
I have been looking into this problem for a couple of days.
Basically, I don't think it is an easy problem for us to patch because
the format of the help files themselves has changed significantly. In
other words, we could patch ApplicationWindow.cpp to make use of new
help files, but
Sorry, make that libqtassistantclient-dev!

Hi Ruben,
I have attached a debdiff which amends the dependencies in
debian/control. It builds and runs fine on my Ubuntu Maverick
installation. Do you want to try something similar for Debian
Unstable? The code is also available in the following Bazaar branch:
Package: caret
Version: 5.6.1.3~dfsg.1-2
Severity: important
Cannot build/install as Qt has been upgraded to v. 4.7, and the
QAssistantClient class has been removed.
This can be fixed by adding Build-Depends: libqtassistantclient-dev and
Recommends: qt-assistant-compat to debian/control

Please find attached a debdiff which fixes the problem in Ubuntu
Maverick. Do you want to use something similar in Debian unstable?

Description: Binary data
Package: grace
Version: 1:5.1.22-2
Severity: normal
The non-linear curve fitting tool in grace outputs the wrong value next
to RMS per cent error: It actually gives the RMS **relative** error,
i.e. it is out by a factor of exactly 100.
The RMS per cent error should be given as:
e = 100 *
1 - 100 of 180 matches
