Hey, thanks for that. Did you check the themes were indeed looking the
same before and after?
Oh, trying this themes with widget factory brought me to the problem :)
The patched themes really differ, especially progressbar and toggle and
check buttons.
OK, from the source code of Murrine engine I found that highlight_shade
= hilight_ratio/0.909090. Changing the numbers seems to be helpful. In
some time I'll post new patch for broken themes.

No, I closed this by mistake. From the changelog:

Yes, there was Other option and was installed gnome-terminal

I mean update-desktop-database.
Anyway it won't be fixed in etch. I'll try to have this in lenny but as
the lib freeze is now, it may be a bit difficult.
It doesn't work. Output is in attach file.
And there is mimeinfo.cache after thunar removal.
Hope you fix it for newer releases.
After thunar removal you're saying that there is still a .desktop file
with a MimeType=x-directory/gnome-default-handler in
/usr/share/applications?
Could you grep for that?
Make sure you dont have anything left from thunar. If you don't, I guess
it's a problem in update-desktop-database
