build. I installed kmymoney2 and kmymoney-common packages only ...
Now it's working as expected.

I don't think this a problem with yakuake, and I am not sure it is a KDE
problem either. It looks more like a problem with your keyboard layout

After updating to KDE 4.4 i was able to reinstall printer-applet 4:4.4.3-1
Printer-applet does not produce any error messageboxes on startup and it seems
to work now. CUPS does not log any error messages too.
