With claws-mail 3.X, based on Gtk2, the fancy plugin needed an abandoned branch of libwebkitgtk, and basically required the package libwebkitgtk-1.0.0 which had been removed from Debian. But now that 4.0.0 is based on Gtk3, Fancy can be built against libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 which is very much alive.
