Tbh, I would prefer if this patch was acked by upstream before we pull
this into Debian.
Unfortunately upstream seem to be a bit dormant.
The problem is, that I don't actually use the VPN plugin myself or have
the ability to test it.
So would feel a bit uneasy pulling a patch that is not acked/reviewed
and which I can't test.
The patch got accepted into the main branch, so it is acked.
I do not know what upstream's review requirements are before a patch can get
into the main branch.
