It provides tooling to maintain an APT archive (and multiple individual package repositories), perform QA on it, autobuild packages, and provides various tools for better insight into the archive, such as web applications to view archive details, a Matrix bot and a ZeroMQ-based message bus to plug in custom tooling. In order to make this useful as a Debian package, quite a bit of preparation still has to be done upstream, especially some crucial parts need better documentation, so the project can be used by people outside its two original Debian derivatives, Tanglu and PureOS. Having a package for it will make the project a lot more accessible though. I expect packaging this to take a while, some dependencies like Mautrix are not yet in Debian, and JavaScript components are always a pain (fortunately, Laniakea only has few of those).
