Package: aptitude Version: 0.4.11.11-1~lenny1 Severity: wishlist When some non-automatic source is selected (backports, experimental, etc.), aptitude does not currently tell the user that a new version is available. One has to use external hacks, like the following:
$ apt-show-versions|grep manual redmine/lenny-backports *manually* upgradeable from 0.9.1-1~bpo50+1 to 0.9.3-1~bpo50+1 It would be much more friendlier to list those packages, eg. a special "manually upgradeable" section -- Yann -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
