As described in bug #815056, there was a packaging mistake that led to the brief existance of libtesseract4. This problem has been corrected and we are now back to libtesseract3. I was advised in the Debian Devel IRC channel to file this transition bug, asking to rebuild dependencies. I believe the latest Tesseract packages will not enter Debian Testing without this assistance.
