I want to report the following observation:
Even after boot-up, a manual /etc/init.d/privoxy restart fails when I
have no external network connection.

yes I restarted the session between the crashes. I used version 4.3.1 as long
as it was in unstable and I did not experience something similar.
This kind of crashes happen also in a fresh installation in a different

xpdf-utils's successor poppler-utils.

had to move to the that kernel to fix a bug, and I figured keeping kvm
