When using the Compress::Bzip2 Perl module to compress an empty file, the
resulting compressed file becomes corrupted. The bzip2 program however
compresses them just fine.
Although I know compressing an empty file won't save
I tried this on my lenny system and was unable to reproduce this issue.

the implementation used for dpkg. Attached are the two
files from dpkg (lib/md5.c and lib/md5.h) and a patch that was
delivered to mediatomb.cc for the same issue (they use an internal
copy of libupnp, so it should be relatively easy to apply).

I could not reproduce this bug. It's possible that you are
experiencing this problem because of a limitation in your opengl
hardware.

In the case of Debian, this means these files can still be
redistributed but without modifications. The copyright file of
warsow-data already says this. This is true for version 0.32 of warsow
as well, which is the current release.
