For me, it's not the same bug. It stops at:
Same here: cannot boot 2.6.28-1. The 2.6.28 kernel from DebianKernels

I have PowerBook Pro, ReiserFS, lilo. In

not too large.

Hi,
Could you upgrade ekiga to 2.0.12 please and if the problem persists
attach the output of ekiga -d 4?
From ChangeLog of 2.0.12:

I put a few days ago this image as the default one and run lilo: no
warning was issued about the size, still rebooting the computer does not
work.
So I reopen this bug.

Could you please give me the command line? Is it

Hi,
I have just found that the MODULES variable is in the /etc/initramfs/...
file. So I changed it and the kernel boots!
Official initrd: 6.7MB
With MODULES=dep: 3.2MB

I had the initial problem too and I tried to change MODULES. Now the boot
process does find the root fs and starts

After downgrading lilo to 1:22.8-3.1 (sept. 2007) andexecuting lilo -v,
the bug still persists. So it seems this has nothing to do with lilo??

It does not work on my PPC system at all. Can you try it on a PPC machine?
I use 0.6.0-2.
According to the gstreamer guys this is most probably caused by a
alignment issue

Are you on a G3? What's your exact machine type?
Does gst-inspect-0.10 crash for you? (it's in the
gstreamer0.10-tools package).
