I cannot see how this can introduce this particular bug. However, I'll
give it a try
value in the new kernel like descripted in
your link. And I also told you that this is a noop as my system had not
have any /sbin/hotplug.
The Debian kernel uses
# CONFIG_UEVENT_HELPER is not set
But this is not what is descripted in the link you gave me.
