I've been waiting a loooooooong time for a whiteboarding application. I noticed that when I typed $ apt-get install gobby it reported Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: gobby: Depends: libnet6-1.1-0 (>= 1.1.0) but it is not installable Depends: libobby-0.2-0 (>= 0.2.0) but it is not installable E: Broken packages Thanks, Kingsley -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) --------------------------------------- Received: (at 321345-done) by bugs.debian.org; 5 Aug 2005 22:05:11 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 05 15:05:11 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from focus.syskonzept.net [85.131.168.32] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.36 1 (Debian)) id 1E1AJT-0007rA-00; Fri, 05 Aug 2005 15:05:11 -0700 Received: from p54a2fa62.dip.t-dialin.net ([84.162.250.98] helo=[10.0.3.10]) by focus.syskonzept.net with esmtpsa (TLS-1.0:RSA_ARCFOUR_SHA:16) (Exim 4.50) id 1E1AJR-0002fv-Uq; Fri, 05 Aug 2005 22:05:10 +0000 In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 (Apple Message framework v733) Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit From: Philipp Kern <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: Bug#321345: gobby: unmet dependencies Date: Sat, 6 Aug 2005 00:05:01 +0200 To: "Kingsley G.
