Package: debhelper
Version: 8.9.10
Severity: serious

Hi,

I have a package which is using debhelper compat level 9 for its
multiarch support. Todays upgrade makes this package FTBFS:

dh_strip -plibgnome-keyring0 --dbg-package=libgnome-keyring0-dbg
objcopy: unrecognized option '--only-keep-debug
--compress-debug-sections'
Usage: objcopy [option(s)] in-file [out-file]
...
make: *** [binary-strip-IMPL/libgnome-keyring0] Error 2

As the gdb version might be relevant (according to the changelog), it is
gdb: 7.3-1+b1

Cheers,
Michael
