Followup-For: Bug #393666
Hi, Francesco :)
I suffer from this bug too. After the last upgrade, first proftpd didn't
want to start up at all, complaining of missing files while loading
modules. Commenting out mod_ldap and mod_sql_* from modules.conf seemed
to
on
firebird2-common being done with the account creation and I prefer to
have a strong reason to fiddle with them just before the release.

Patrick,
This will still help Debian users, especially if you provide a
backport for Etch.
password for server restart is not
present in firebird 2.0 and such problems will disappear. Unfortunately,
2.0 won't make it into Etch so this is not much of a relief.

Hi,
Sorry for breaking qt-x11-free.
The easiest way for fixing this is to build-depend on firebird1.5-dev
instead of firebird2-dev.
The problem is not worth fixing in firebird2, since it shall be removed
from the archive as part of package rename anyway.
Good side
Hi,
The patch I've proposed misses a critical part.
In src/sql/qt_sql.pri, -lfds must be replaced with -lfbclient.

Package: libchart-perl
Severity: serious
The current name of 'libchart-perl' doesn't follow the Perl policy,
because the main module is GD::Chart.
Please rename the package to libgd-chart-perl.
The only reverse-dependency is bugzilla. I guess simple Provides:
libchart-perl would avoid breakage
Package: libvorbis-perl
Version: 0.05-3
Severity: serious
(this time for real)
This package's module is named Ogg::Vorbis and therefore, per Perl
policy, the package should be named libogg-vorbis-perl.
There are no reverse-dependencies so a simple rename should do it,
right?
$ dpkg -L

empty lines and thus the inner while reads until EOF?
Or, perhaps $line needs a chomp in order to match /^$/ ?
(yes, that would mean a behaviour change)
