I just apt-get upgraded and in the process installed libgnutls13
1.7.18-2. Afterwards I had to find out that mutt doesn't work anymore
Package: libopensync0
Version: 0.19-1.2
Severity: serious
Justification: Policy 12.5
Header says it all. Policy 12.5 says:
In addition, the copyright file must say where the upstream sources (if
any) were obtained.
However, there is no such information in this package.

you mentioned upon
reading the UTF-8 hyphen (e2 80 90). To me this doesn't look like a bug in col,
but an incorrect call from lintian as man is asked to produce UTF-8 encoding
while col isn't switched to it. Apparently the C locale does not define the
encoding.

Please forget this email of mine, it's crap. I only have to update my virtual

thinking about my host upgrade that I got this wrong.

This seems to show that your running kernel and your header files are not on
the same page. Are you sure the kernel you're running is the same as the one
you've installed headers for?

I fail to see why this is serious. Please point us to the policy section that
is broken here. Otherwise I consider this a normal bug, therefore downgrading
it.

I would bet that the modules were build for 2.6.32, but between building of the
modules and you trying to use the modules the kernel package was updated yet
again. And with this update not changing version numbers but changing ABI the
modules do not work anymore.

severity 559260 serious
thanks
This bug breaks update/installation/removal of quite some packages and
therefore IMO makes the package unfit for squeeze. Therefore I raise the
severity to be release critical just to prevent migration, just in case it
takes longer to fix.
