Dear, Yesterday morning (Nov 6) my screen stayed close to black, I did not read this mail thread before. I reverted by installing several Stretch packages. I just now re-installed all from Sid. All working fine. Many thanks indeed for quick actions AND clear communication via this channel.

Bug#3 Kmail can't delete certain emails

Some (random ?) emails can't be deleted nor flagged as 'read'. tested akonadictl fsck / vacuum / restart in all combinations without luck. After restarting sddm when struck by Bug#1, those emails were gone. I guess, restarting Kmail would have done the same. Still not very nice.

Hi again, I managed to fix the crashes by re-building lxqt-qtplugin against current unstable. The bug this clearly is in lxqt-plugin, reported as #843512. Still, Qt 5.7 should probably not transition to testing without a new version of lxqt-plugin. Kind regards, Ralf
