This looks like a xft2/fontconfig issue, you may want to try upgrading to the version of libxft2, libfontconfig1, and fontconfig to the ones in sid. libxft2, libfontconfig1, and fontconfig were all up to date but I found libqt3c102-mt depended on libxft2. Upgrading libqt3c102-mt to the version

After finding some have had similar trouble running the nvidia driver in xfree86 I changed to nv but that doesn't help. Have you tried to recompile the nVidia drivers? You have to do that every time you recompile your kernel. Have a look at
