Hi there:
I am currently running Karolina's KDE 3.1 RC5 Packages for sid (compiled
with gcc 2.95) on my system, which is a mixture of sarge/sid. After
hearing so much, about the disadvantages of keeping a mix system, and
now that KDE 3.1.1 is in sid, I decided to upgrade completely to sid.

Hi Aryan,
just move ~/.kde out of the way (maybe to ~/.kde.old), it contains all of
your settings. (you may check /etc/ for a kdm dir, also..).
then purge your current kde installation. this is recommended because a
straight upgrade-path is not guaranteed with unofficial repositories.

I'd like to use KPPP just as a front-end for pppd and not as a dialler.
I have a DSL connection that requires PPTP and I've properly configured
pppd to invoke pptp (via a pty entry in /etc/ppp/peers/provider).
Everything works quite well, except that I'd like to have a convenient

I would like to startup digikam, when the camera is plugged in.
libgphoto2 comes with the example usbcam.x11-app hotplug script,

o fixed user
o fixed display (new complication du to the great 'New Session'

'last' is one way to find out

This looks like a xft2/fontconfig issue, you may want to try upgrading

libxft2, libfontconfig1, and fontconfig were all up to date but I found
libqt3c102-mt depended on libxft2. Upgrading libqt3c102-mt to the version
