Dear Maintainer,
After kernel upgrade, changing brightness takes some seconds and causes system
slowdown if i try to change more than one level at a time. This problem does
not happen in the other kernel packages i have
cpuinfo_min_freqscaling_cur_freq scaling_setspeed
cpuinfo_transition_latency scaling_driver stats
How do I make this change persistent?
Thanks, Leonardo

there from linux 4.0 [1]). I'm forwarding that bug here as suggested.
Thanks for helping!

Dear Maintainer,
i just installed jessie on my cubieboard as described on the debian wiki page.
All is fine but I can't see CPU freq:

model name : ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v7l)
:
leo@cubetto:~$ ls /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/

Maybe some device-tree issue?

I tried comparing dmesg from sunxi kernel (3.4) and experimental (4.1) but
I couldn't spot anything relevant. Both are attached as I'm not skilled
enough and I might have missed something.

So I forward-ported the wheezy 3.2 kernel package and confirmed that the
sound works fine in it.
With the 3.9 package the sound disappears as described above, though
without that perf interrup message. The same goes for 3.10 and 3.14 (all
kernels were from the Debian packages).

I'm not sure whether to report this here, or to alsa or what.
Ever since upgrading to jessie/testing, sound output will suddenly stop
from time to time. It only comes back after reloading the module,
snd_hda_intel . It seems that, every

That's good to hear. Do you mind if I forward this information to the

I think it's only a matter of pci id, I tryied to patch kernel with the
file attached and 2.4 detects it as a SATA and enable DMA. :)
It could be nice to include a similar patch into new kernels...
especially for installation step.
Thank you, Leonardo.
