As I'm using the stable version I thought that I should have followed
the stable manual (on how to use preseed.cfg):

Then I realized that I should have looked in the current manual:

I'm doing a sid-build(iso-hybrid), and for some reason I have mouse and
touchpad-support in live-mode, and also in the finished install. But I do
not have mouse or touchpad-support during the graphical-install. I myself
have no problems getting trough the install

this is an apt-setup thing (debian-installer, not debian-live).

then that is a debian-installer thing, not a debian-live one. please ask
