I built a Debian Live CD with lh_config -a i386 -d lenny --packages 'gdm openoffice . . .' plus copies of several of my configuration files including /etc/network/interfaces. All the packages work fine but the system can't connect to our lan which uses static ip addresses. During bootup

Should lh_build produce an iso?

2007-08-30 Thread Thomas H. George
I haven't quite got the hang of it. make-live is depreciated but one reference claimed the same options work with lh_build. I tried lh_config followed by lh_build -p gnome-desktop but the option -p is unknown. lh_build gnome-desktop runs, does a great deal of work and seems to exit normally

I normally use icewm and a limited number of applications. From the Wiki I understood that make-live --help would show the available windows managers but when I entered this command I got a message that make-live was depreciated and replaced by lh_build. This command works but I don't
