Hi,
I started creating a debian lenny live+install cd and the binary.iso was
created successfully.
When i tried to install debian using the installer, it says that no kernel
modules were found
and it also does not detect my nic card. Should I use etch as distribution
type? What LH_ switches

Is it required?

in general, no. but d-i has not been released, hence you need to use
daily builds of d-i, not the one present in the sid or lenny archive.
