Nice work Brendan.
I just thought you might be interested to know, that .ogg video format
is a good choice as some browsers are beginning to support streaming it
with a video tag from HTML5.

Kind regards,
After the security stanzas have been added to /etc/apt/sources.list
live-helper should then dist-upgrade to incorporate those security
updates.
I noticed this here:

I could dist-upgrade manually doing a chroot[1], though I think it
should be scripted

Yep, I also confirm it,
it was fixed before, please use:
either 1.0~a36-1 from sid
or 1.0~a37~20071118.113346 or newer
I'm using sid 1.0~a36-1 ...
cheers

As we just figured out on IRC, Brendan was actually asking for copying
his git import to alioth, which I did so:
git clone git://git.debian.org/git/debian-live/autotesting.git

that's strange, because the parted changes weren't done there.
what is actually failing for you, and does the snapshot work?

Description: Digital
I'm creating a live-debian with customized kernel; I modify only the
LH_LINUX_PACKAGES and the LH_LINUX_FLAVOUR parameters; the rest is set
up with lh_config (xfce, usb-hh, unionfs);
lh_bootstrap and lh_chroot are OK;
then I chroot inside to install manually the xerver-xorg-video-amd
package
OK,
I put the kids in the bed and the I'll do it

there are no uploads to experimental, but snapshots are available at

Ciao Daniel
I also have to say that last week doing the same worked without
problems; the only new things I introduced is a new kernel.
if it works without the custom kernel, this must be the reason.
if it is the kernel, you probably need to give more details about the
/excact/ values
Here the config

Running lh_binary with the snapshot version I get more error-information
see here below:

I also build it correctly now, after repeating every step from scratch.
Apparently the upgrade to the snapshot version resolved the problem
Thanks!!!
