Sudo problems wth custom kernel

Hello, I compiled a custom 2.6.25-rc8-mm2 with in tree unionfs and squashfs. It works but sudo doesn't work complaining for a malformed /etc/sudores. Controlling it, it seems to be OK... Is this issue related with the custom kernel use or the squashfs (2.6.24 corrected to eliminate some
