Bug#830245: krunner doesn't do anything (than remembering the last unsuccessful entries)

tosky told me the solution in debian-kde: There are two files which are not yet upgraded (why actually?) libkf5plasma5 and plasma-framework (version 5.23.0-1 from unstable) I added unstable in /etc/apt/sources.list And created /etc/apt/preferences : > Package: * > Pin: release a=testing >

I'm quite sure you've already solved this via help on IRC, but for future reference and for others I'll still answer your questions. CC-ing 830514 as the procedure is the same. On zaterdag 9 juli 2016 15:04:26 CEST Maria wrote: > is it possible that some essential package was uninstalled

Dear Diederik, thanks for your information. Actually right now, krunner is completely useless causing alot of work just for starting software or calculating something. If you could give me a hint, how or when this can be solved? is it possible that some essential package was uninstalled

Source: krunner Severity: important Dear Maintainer, since an upgrade almost a week ago krunner doesn't start any programs anymore (it opens the text field but doesn't react to entered text). It remembers the last (unsuccessful) entries though and offers to complete them but there is no reaction
