I was able to reproduce this in Ubuntu 20.04 on i7-2600 with the
Rscript -e "example(solve)"
test case. Rebuilding with
export DEB_LDFLAGS_MAINT_STRIP="-Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions"
in debian/rules solved it for me.
