Hi Folks,

I'm trying to set up a build environment for the Open Source Virtual
Reality Dev. Kit. Part of the OSVR setup requires libopencv-dev.
However I can't seem to either install it or build it.

I'm building on a stock Debian Jessie system, and when I try to
install libopencv-dev, there are a bunch of unsatisfied dependencies.
A google search shows that this problem has existed on several Linux
systems, but no solution seems to be available.

So I tried to build it from source. Got the source downloaded but
dpkg-deb -b says it can't find the DEBIAN directory. Do I have to
create that? I thought the source package was ready to build... It has
been quite some time since I've actually built a package, and I'm more
than a little rusty, and some details have changed since I was an
active developer for Debian, so I'm at a loss.

Is there any way to resolve this problem and get libopencv-dev
installed on my system?

Thanks,

Dale Scheetz
