Hi, all
recently my package yade has been accepted into the experimental
branch and built on amd64-platform.
But it seems there are some problems with other 3 platforms: i386,
powerpc and sparc.
https://buildd.debian.org/build.cgi?pkg=yade
For example, for i386 platform there is the following
unmet dependencies:
sbuild-build-depends-yade-dummy: Depends: liblog4cxx9-dev which is a virtual
package.
Depends: python-sphinx (= 0.99) but it is
not going to be installed.

IMHO it would fit into the Engineering[1] task best. It is a tool with which
you can do FEM calculations like e.g. Code Aster[2]
I would propose also:

changes from
git.

Hi Wolfgang,
I have uploaded your package, but into experimental branch
for the moment, because we are still in freeze stage
of development. Will move it just after release. Also
I have done a minor changes in d/changelog, shortening it
as it is a first release. Also, according to debian science
I will do it tonight.

Hi,
flint is in fact already in debian, with 2.4.4-2 in testing and unstable,

This last version has a serious bug: it fails to upgrade from sid

Hi Wolfgang,
there are some notes on your package:
* Why not to put test/latim.fbd into tests/
* Readme.source contains an information, that some
non-free files were removed. But I could not find it in
_get-orig-source.sh. Also I would recommend you to
put the list of removed files into
Hi Wolfgang,
I have just reviewed your package and it looks
very good. Just a small suggestion before upload.
* Try to do the library multi-arch i.e. put.so-files
into /usr/lib/deb_multiarch/.
* It looks like debian/watch is not working properly.
But executing libsnl_get-orig-source.sh
Hi Nico,
bugrports with attached patches (better in git-format) would help a lot.

Hi everyone,
I started playing around with the VTK6 package and found that it won't
properly build the new (in 6.2.0) Xdmf3
I sponsored memtailor. Please pay attention that build
fails on kfreebsd*-archs due to wrong symbols. Not critical
though. I think this symbol-system is a very good idea,
but its maintainance is just a pain. I dropped it from all of
my packages.
I will have a look at mathic.

Done. Please tag git-repo properly.

Hi Jose,
well, usually we need to request so-called binNMU, which
should be done by release team. Or we can do some changes
in package itself (for example adding small autopkgtest)
and upload it again.
There is really a problem with the player-package, which
prevents migrating gazebo into

for testing MPI I add the following line into the script:
export OMPI_MCA_orte_rsh_agent=/bin/false

thanks a lot for an interest to help with vtk6-transition!
Just FYI I have prepared a new upload for vtk6, but

upload it. Hopefully GCC-5 will over soon.
Same here, nice to associate email with a real person!
