My detailed notes are in

. I used OpenJDK 13 on Ubuntu 19.10 and found no problems. I don't see
anything in this maintenance release which is Windows-specific, so I
was not planning to do any particular Windows testing;
I agree. This is a Hudson problem. Is it happening every time? Or it only

The only suggestion I can think of is that perhaps we should have a
single sentence mentioning that this release works with Java 9, 10,
and 11 (or perhaps say "Java 9+"?)
Actually the whole Java versioning thing is kinda strange nowadays,
with the new numbering scheme. I
Hi Rick, thanks for putting this together!
I think that you could embellish this, it's pretty terse.
I think that we continue to face the challenge that we've discussed in
the past. For classic Derby users, and classic Java users (like me),
they may not have paid much attention to the Java 9

David, perhaps you could contribute a suggested patch
We have some OLD documentation on the Derby site.
The original 10.0 documentation, is still present:
http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/10.0/
The 10.0 docs describe software that is, what, close
to 15 years old now?
And I still see lots of external sites referring to the 10.8
documentation, which

Was it just this one test class that had this problem
I was successful using 10.15.1.3 on two different Windows 10 systems,
one with JDK 9 and one with JDK 11. I ran a variety of tests, examined
the docs, checked signatures, and successfully accessed and upgraded a
long-standing database that I've got access to.
I also (briefly) verified that I can

Hi Rick,
The last test that I want to run on the 10.15 release is to try
upgrading a couple of relatively old databases that I happen to have
hanging around.
But I keep bumping into that restriction check that disallows
upgrading to a non-production release.
Can you remind me how I work around

Hi Rick,
I'm ready for a new release candidate, at your convenience.
