Hey everyone!

I am delighted to tell you that we have the results in from the F35 inspiration
vote: Mae Jemison!

Here's a rundown of the results:

Total voters: 24

1. Mae Jemison
10 votes / 41.67%

2. Irène Joliot-Curie
7 votes / 29.17%

3. Edward Jenner
4 votes / 16.67%

4. Whitcomb Judson
2 votes / 8.33%

5. Reynold Johnson
1 vote / 4.17%

A reminder of Dr. Jemison's background:

A medical doctor and scientist who became a NASA astronaut studying
the effects of weightlessness and motion sickness on human health. She also
appeared on an episode of Star Trek and is the only real astronaut to ever do
so. Jemison was a doctor (also very timely to feature a doctor with the
pandemic) as well as an astronaut and a teacher/mentor.

We've done a lot of space themes and I'd suggest aiming away from a generic
space theme and maybe thinking about specifically the human body in space since
that was her research topic for NASA (and relevant to COVID too which is
topical of course.)

I'll update the ticket accordingly, and appreciate anyone / everyone taking in
helping us gather ideas on how to visually represent F35 in light of this. I am
thinking about using the first design video chat session to brainstorm some
ideas together which will be reported back on the ticket so anyone who can't
make it can participate.

Cheers,
~m
