desktop and right clicked on resize icon. instead of resizing it would

Iirc, the gio pathway is unrelated to this bug: an sshfs mount is a
'local' mount (which is the root of the problem). Saving files to

based mounts.
I was able to replicate the first part of the original bug as reported,
but clicking Save Anyway always works for me.
I have patched gedit with an updated version of the patch that Brent
mentioned above. The
I just installed Intrepid from scratch and it still has that problem.
It originally updates before my wireless is connected. Either it's not
really fixed yet, or maybe it has and we'll see it in Jaunty.

I suspect it is enumerating and caching every item in every subfolder,
because the time varies. E.g. /usr takes a looong time, while Documents
doesn't.

Copy the patch to the directory with source code. Go to this directory and run
the command:
patch -p1 -i diff

Rhythmbox seems that doesn't drag drop ogg files to my portable digital audio
device (MAJESTIC PDR 130MP3/2G) that correctly supports ogg files (in fact
audio files are correctly played from audio device if the music is transferred
to it via nautilus).

Actually, it only does not work when lowering nice value. When raising, it
works ok.
