to be a regular (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross
I'll sponsor this, looks straightforward (I haven't tested it myself,
though).
This should not be an issue for gdm 2.24, thus no need to forward this
upstream.

gdm does not respect all the given color variables in a gtkrc which is included
with the gdm theme
If I understand you correctly, the dialog you're referring to is the gtk
file chooser dialog, which isn't part of Nautilus. Re-assigning to gtk.
