My iphone 3G with 3.1.3 looses its lyrics and the ability to use TuneWiki App,
when synced with rhythmbox. After resync with itunes everything ist fine.
Hopefully linux will some day be able to read the itunes lyrics. Until that i
have to stick to itunes (unfortunatly)

What I finally did to work around this (if I can remember correctly):
I completely deleted my primary domain user's folder that I was concerned with.
/home/Domain-Name/username
I re-logged in as that user, allowing the machine to automatically create that
users folder again.
I copied/pasted the

I have had the same problem. I upgraded to Lucid 10.04 from Ubuntu 9
and things have been great for about a week. iSuddenly today, I had
this identical issue I cannot resolve it. I tried different solutions,
logging into recovery mode, but I still end up with a box coming up
saying Install

Ok, I was in the first two or five rounds of this discussion and I
have to say that at this point any further discussion is moot.
The real bug was that Mark and others did not consider the possibility
at people would hate the changed in the UI. And by hate, I mean,

I am running 10.04.1 i386, fully updated, with lucid-proposed and still
experience this issue.
I notice that it happens every time I run Rhythmbox, and as it starts
minimized I need to run it again before the window will come up and be
useful.
