I think Nautilus may have the same problem.
After the upgrade, Nautilus has sprouted menus when running in the root window.
The menus appear after about a short delay, just as in Gnome Terminal. Could
there be a common cause?

11.10 and this is back. Just installed Ubuntu today. Set the mouse to
left handed, worked fine. Rebooted, and it's never worked again. xinput:

I have the same problem but I'm using the NVIDIA accelerated graphics
driver - post-release notes... has anybody else had the same problem and

Terminal tab switching is slower in 11.10 on my machine (Core2Duo@2GHz,4GB RAM)
with Unity-2D too. Also workspace switching is a nightmare in vte based

This error occours after upgrade to 11.10.
filer-roller doesn't recognize war extension (there are no problems with ear
and jar extensions).
Icon of war file is the generic icon, and not the file-roller icon.
If I change extension from war to zip, ear or jar
The bug does not happen in Oneiric. Don't know if it's fixed or just a
different hardware combination that's working better - I have a new
laptop with Oneiric and the same old bluetooth dongle is recognized and
working.

Edit Preferences Mail Accounts [ select my default mail account ]
'Edit' button 'Defaults' tab
and then setting a folder (ex. 'On This Computer' Sent), clicking OK,
and then re-doing the same thing, but un-setting the folder the second
time
I forgot to add that, for my situation, I'm using a Gmail IMAP account,
so I don't need Evolution to append the sent mails to a 'sent' folder,
it is done automatically by the Gmail servers.

I've associated my eject key with a script that call eject (it works) and show
the icon.

I can reproduce it as said in comment #3. I also noticed that it only
happens if I have gnome-settings-daemon running, and it can be triggered
from other gnome apps, like gnome-calculator and gnome-character-map, by
shift-clicking in the menu bar as well.

I'd love to see the second pane remembered by default, too. I find
myself switching to the terminal every time I want to copy or move
files, because it's more comfortable for addressing multiple locations -
that simply *cannot* point to a good design choice for a graphical
browser.

webkit gtk
I didn't have this problem with ubutnu 11.04

Cannot create jabber account with custom loginID

I have an account in jabber “username@im” and I cannot create it using empathy,
cause it thinks account should look like “sern...@example.com”.
The only way of creating it was creating it in pidgin and importing pidgin
accounts to empathy.
