If I am copying files or folders from my hard disk to a folder on a
Samba network share, occasionally the Paste into Folder menu item is
greyed out incorrectly. It actually works, despite being greyed.

Under heavy I/O empathy starts regarding my own messages as the incoming ones.
I was able to reproduce this by attempting to create a 5Gb file on a 5400RPM
SATA 2 disk - sending a message during such kind of high I/O periods makes my

I have this same bug when using the theme Ambiance. Every time I double
click on a .png file, Shotwell opens up as a 'restored' (visible but not
full screen) window. When I them maximise the window the bottom toolbar
is missing. I then have to restore the window, and then maximise it
again at

I am of the same opinion with philinux regarding gksu nautilus.
Also, I very often clean folders and files or edit them with gksu nautilus
and then with gedit.
Believe me, it is a useuful command.
Anyway we need an explanation why this is not working anymore.

I have a 12.04 Macbook Air with the same issue. This bug is a duplicate
of bug #964299 but I'll close that since the discussion seems to be
here.
I'd like the priority to be increased on this as well because it's a
significant power drain for laptops.

The PDF file attached to this bug is not displayed correctly by evince.
In the terminal where evince was started many instances of this error
message are displayed:
Error: failed to load truetype font
some font thing failed
okular is not able to display this file correctly
