It would be a problem only if one downgraded libxrandr to a previous
version. Usually distributions don't update libxrandr or the Xserver in
stable releases. This means that g-d and g-p-m will have to be rebuilt

daemon are used remotely so as to better define the use-case in which

Ok, Marting fixed bug 221968 in jockey, however here's what happens with his
fix (which works) when I try to enable the desktop effects:
1) 1st try: it says that Desktop effects can't be enabled.
2) 2nd try (after few seconds): I can enable the desktop effects.

I can't send/receive files to/from my Nokia via Bluetooth any more.
I don't know if it depends on the kernel but bluetooth used to work in
Ubuntu Edgy (just like it does in Dapper).
If I try to send a file from my Nokia 6680 it says
Unfortunately I can't reproduce the error

Running rhythmbox -d decreases the number of times this problems takes
place.

words in the search field and Rhythmbox started playing the song Joe
Jackson - Steppin' Out as you can see from the log
