As per the bug itself, it's a technical defect that should be filed
against the application in Ubuntu, rather than an issue the Ubuntu

It has happened consistently in the last few logins I've done, although
I have been seeing this happening on and off during Natty.

Is this bug still present?
We should investigate why this happened (is the package not generating a
.pot file perhaps?), but one thing we can do in the meantime is to
manually upload the upstream POT template and with a bit of luck the
strings will be shipped in next week's Maverick language pack
Adding a task for nvidia, as it seems to happen only when using that
driver. With nouveau it looks fine
