In EOG 3.2.0 (Ubuntu 11.10, Oneiric) the bug cannot be reproduced. Reason: The sidebar is now totally disabled. The menu Ansicht – Seitenleiste, Strg-F9 in the german version, which probably reads view – sidebar, Ctrl-F9 in the english version is greyed out. -- You received this bug notification

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: eog Eye of GNOME 2.32.1 in Ubuntu 11.04/Gnome shows wrong GPS positions in the OSM map. All of my geocoded images are misplaced by an offset of about 100km to the west. Geeqie displays the maps correctly. EOG in Ubuntu 10.10 did not have that error, too.
