I had this problem too on Ubuntu Karmic trying to sync with google
calendar.
The error in the terminal was:
e-data-server-ui-Message: Unable to find password(s) in keyring (Keyring
reports: No matching results)
e-data-server-ui-Message: Key file does not have group 'Passwords-Calendar'
This appears to fix my problems too. When did this break? It's been
working on Karmic before, I've only just noticed today in Eclipse that
buttons couldn't be pressed and some lists were invisible (looked empty,
but when you clicked it, you could hit checkmarks)

I think I've already refuted that argument, Chris. Sometimes it's not
possible to click the button, and you shouldn't have to click the button
if you don't want to.
And yes, since the 60 seconds is hardcoded into the application, someone
IS forcing 60 seconds on everybody.

Same issue here, happened after I created a calendar event that spans
over several days.
I killed the /usr/lib/evolution/2.28/evolution-alarm-notify program and
evolution started up as usual.

I'm referring to the dialog that says 'system will shutdown in 60 seconds',
which appears after you've pressed the gnome button to do so, or pressed the
powerbutton. This dialog is unnecessary for me, and I just want to be able to
make it less than 60 seconds.
The dialog in question does not
I was going to set it to 0 seconds, actually. There's just no reason for
me to have the confirmation box at all.
I'm used to hitting shutdown and then walking away from the computer and
let it do its thing. It's also annoying on my laptops because I hit
shutdown and then close the lid before the

You can't do anything with searched files
I agree with ShawnJGoff. 'Edit' is a very different function than open
and is not applicable to all files as widely at 'Open' is.
Some files open in an editor, other files open in a viewer, I think this
works fine as it is.

For the love of all that is holy, DO NOT IMPLEMENT THIS!
This was a stupid idea in Windows and it'll be a stupid idea in Ubuntu. When I
click a file, 99.999% of times it's because I want to select it. Not rename it.
And the moment the UI is just slightly unresponsive, or when I have selected
I actually enjoy the current calendar drop-down behavior and I don't
want it to change.
Right now I can browse and scroll freely in other windows while the
calendar is still visible; something I do often when trying to match an
email/schedule in a browser with my own current schedule.
