You still can, by setting "allow_rgb10_configs" true in drirc for gnome-
shell. Only the driver defaults were flipped.
Note that the modesetting driver does not support it, only after we get
xserver 1.20 in 18.10. So for Intel hw you'd need to use the -intel
driver until then.

Hi, I have a local "dummy" DNS server on my router which registers DHCP
clients with the hostnames that they have. But resolving these hostnames
doesn't work on zesty unless fqdn is used, otherwise there's a timeout
that says:

I have a laptop with a 3200x1800 screen, and zesty shows the lightdm
greeter incorrectly. Most of the time it's only a square box on top-left
corner and the rest is blank. Sometimes it shows the full screen but
it's only the top-left quarter of a full desktop as it thinks the
yeah I moved it to mesa until I've verified with the older version, and
it's still happening even with -intel + mesa 11.2

Someone who knows better how the background is drawn on unity/compiz
should probably comment what changed. With -intel X driver it's still
the same, so defaulting to modeset X driver didn't cause this.
