One of my desktops is doing the same thing as my laptop above. The
biggest difference is the laptop was upgraded from 9.04. The desktop was
a fresh Lucid install with the beta2, then updated. Both are 64-bit.
Here's the messages on the segfault.

And I'm getting the virtually the same error but in the 64-bit kernel
and packages. Apport isn't catching any crash data at all.

This is related to the new feature that allows switching the button
position based upon the theme selected. Crash occurred when switching
themes between Ambiance custom theme that had button placement in the
right
How could these packages be outdated? This was a fresh install of 10.04
Beta 1 the day after its release. All possible updates are being applied
as they are released, as fast as I can possibly get them. In the
meantime I'm seeing posts on UF that discuss these new packages a day or
two before they
