You still can, by setting "allow_rgb10_configs" true in drirc for gnome- shell. Only the driver defaults were flipped. Note that the modesetting driver does not support it, only after we get xserver 1.20 in 18.10. So for Intel hw you'd need to use the -intel driver until then. ** Also affects:
