f-spot can't open photo's when @ in path
I am having the same problem under Hardy, no @ sign involved; it started
happening after importing some photos from a Canon camera. Now trying to
display any photo, even those that previously displayed OK, either in
the window or fullscreen, produces an image like the screenshot above.

Something else that may be relevant: when you right-click on a thumbnail
and select the Open with: submenu, there are no entries, whereas on a
machine where f-spot is working normally, there are a few entries in
this submenu, starting with Image Viewer.
