Does not work with Gmail addresses. This feature is available with Gmail (I mean Gmail supports invisible status), since I can set status invisible with chat applet on Gmail and it works, but it does not seem to be implemented with Empathy. It is currently working with Yahoo and MSN on my Lucid

I talked at #telepathy a while ago and they say its something that is not implemented in telepathy-gabble for gtalk method and requires pretty much work. in other words invisible dont work for gtalk. note it works for jabber, yahoo and msn might also work for other protocols, I dont exactly know
